My 3 Nights at the Travelodge Hotel Sydney Wynyard

Pros: Its central location, closeness to the Wynyard train station and its closeness to the CBD as well as the Circular Quay.
Cons: Breakfast, a bit more variety of food choices would no go astray and the bacon was always served luke warm burnt to a crisp and greasy.
Location: CBD shopping area and in particular Pit Street mall.
The hotel was pleasant enough to stay at, it was central and close to the Wynyard Station (good for traveling to and from the airport) as well as being close to the CBD. Only three issues was that there was not enough power points in the room. Also breakfast was Spartan to say the least, very little to choose from and repetitive from one day to the next. Finally a toilet brush would be handy, something found in most hotels of standard or above standard quality.

Close to cruise terminal

Pros: Close to cruise terminal.
Cons: Noise level in rooms.
Location: Wynyard station and cruise terminal.
booked a room for my family of 3 (one small child). Found room to be quite noisy due to the work happening across the road which goes all night and also when people walk down the hallway to their rooms it sounds like they are accessing your room. Any conversations either in the room or the hallway could be heard by anyone in surrounding rooms. Also found the buffet breakfast to be overpriced for what you received. Both adults went the full breakfast and my 3 year old was charged the child rate - she had half a muffin and some juice - none of us really found anything to our taste.

Great location and comfort

Perfectly positioned by Winyard station and the Rocks. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in.

Close to train station

Lovely hotel close to train station and walking distance to circular quay. Hotel is undergoing renovations but that didn’t affect us. We were on the second floor so didn’t need to use lifts and although at times we could hear trains it didn’t disturb us at night. Would definitely stay here again.

A short walk to all trains bus & ferry,

Stayed 4 nights,so easy to get around Sydney.Under renovation at the moment don't let that put you off, using the Opal card it's the best place to use the Train, bus, a 10 minute walk to the Ferry.

Close to CBD

Although lifts were being upgraded, when checking out we waited far to long to get to ground floor, we had to go down 7 flights of stairs with luggage or we would of missed our transfer shuttle not happy.

Excellent location close to train station, shops and eateries and relatively cheap for a city hotel.
