8/10 Good

Room was clean and as described, it had 3 beds and a small bathroom. It is an older hotel but great value for money as it is right in the CBD (which means there is city noise) and close to Circular Quay for my cruise departure, close to the train and light rail & Darling Harbour.
Only negatives - the pub is not open on a Sunday, which is when I was checking in, & no one is there, so you have to call a number on the front door and they send someone to check you in. There was no mention of this when booking through Wotif or in their details about the hotel. I also had to call on behalf of someone waiting downstairs as they were international guests and didn't have a phone to call or know what to do.
Also there was no hairdryer in the room but the info in the room said to speak to someone downstairs to borrow one but no one was there so had to call again to ask if I could borrow one and they dropped one off to my room.
There was a note in the bathroom that the hot water can take about 10 mins to come through (due to being an old hotel) & I didn't believe it but that was right. I had to run the water for about 10mins or so before any hot water came through, so if you are in a hurry be prepared for the wait or have a cold shower.
Other than that the staff were friendly and for a budget central hotel it was a good pick.
