My room was quite noisy as it was on Victoria Street and on the first floor. There was a loud vibration off and on for most of the evening which i think may have been from the apartment block next door's air conditioning. The street traffic was audible as well, so ear plugs for light sleepers is a good idea. The roof in my bedroom and the bathroom were quite affected by what looked to be water damage. The shower is TINY and to have a shower without wetting your hair is not easy! Great location with cafes and restaurants at your doorstep. As my room was the standard room, it was very basic, but if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it is OK.

Dear Past Guest, thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Indeed budget standard rooms are very compact, they are our cheapest option for travellers in need of a fresh and clean room in a great location, our Deluxe and Superior rooms are bigger, more luxurious as well as more pricey. We are not very sure about those loud vibration, usually an aircon doesn't produce loud vibrations, currently there are quiet a few construction sites around us maybe one of those could have been the cause. We hope to having you stay with us again in the future Regards

Dear Past Guest, thank you for your recent stay and for taking the time to share your feedback. It's quiet disappointed to be rated 2 because you couldn't fine Darlinghurst road. We have an address and it's 114 Darlinghurst road, you can follow google map or catch a cab to destination, they would drop you off at the door. Each room has got an aircon unit, guest can decide temperature and fan speed with its own remote control. Regards

Rude staff! Mouldy room

The staff tried to charge me $35 for parking that was a 10 minute walk away and when I got the pass for parking, the people there said I had to go down 4 levels just to find a park but all the pros were reserved. I had to park on the street. There was a $200 bond for the room and $204 a night. It’s been 7 days and I haven’t received the $200 bond back. Don’t stay here! You would be better off sleeping in your car.

Dear Past Guest, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and share your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear you felt ripped off by the car park fee, the car park as advertised online is 300 meters from the property, it's an underground secure park and going directly it costs $ 60 overnight! We did arrange a discounted rate for our guests, if you were not happy with that that's fine, it's only a service we try to offer since we know how frustrating is parking in the city of Sydney specially in central location. The pre authorization/Bond is reversed back by the customers bank not from us, we are sorry to hear they are taking a few extra days, usually it doesn't take so long. We wish you a better experience sleeping in your car next time, Kind Regards

The hotel staff on arrival were excellent, polite and helpful. The room was modest and standard, but clean and tidy with generous bedding for the basic price. I found it best accessed by foot, taxi or ride-share, but is greatly situated between Sydney's culture spots and the CBD.

The front desk person on arriving was great. He gave us great ideas about where to eat and what to do. The room was not large but it was very clean. We loved our balcony. On our last night there was a party in the room next door. After asking them to quiet down (with no avail) we told the front desk person. He made sure the party broke up. This was a great location for us, quiet (for the most part) with great place to eat but still within walking distance on the CBD.

Dear Brenda, thank you so much for your recent stay and for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad to hear you liked our hotel location, the oversized veranda and that the staff knowledge very helpful for you. We are sorry to hear next door guests were too loud, but that's good to know that we manage to stop the noise successfully. We hope to having you stay with us again in the future Kind Regards

Not at all the room on the photo

Pros: The staff is very nice
Cons: Everything mentioned above
Location: Great cafes
We did not stay a room that look like the one on the picture. No windows only white screens. Bedroom was looking like a formule 1 room on side of a highway. Very very very small window in the bathroom. Floor full of dust and hairs. Sink in the bathroom with mold. Bedroom not sound proofed as we could ear next room tv and any activity happening in the corridor. Aircon not working. Overall very disappointing.

Dear K, Thank you for your recent stay with us and for taking the time to leave us a review. We are extremely disappointed by reading your comment, usually most of our guests are overall happy and satisfied from their stay. What we believe has happened ( and it does sometimes ) is people look at the photos of our beautiful superior rooms and than book the cheapest room we have online ( standard budget room ) expecting same features, size and configuration of a Superior. Standard rooms are called budget because they are a cheapest option for travellers who just want a fresh clean room in a great location. We are sorry if you expected more from us and we fail. We hope you'll give us another chance in the future, you won't leave disappointed. Regards
