Felt like a bit of an inconvenience on check in. Young girl on check out this morning was much friendlier. Felt. Used hotel on route to another location so Wanted to be well rested. Sadly placed in room 117 and woken by alot of noise. First thought thunder, then thought main road (despite double doors) later realised i was above a loading zone. Witnessed 2 trucks early in the morning.

At breakfast the fruit salad was obviously old it tasted and smelt off The rest of the food was fine.

The room we got had a lovely view. Location was rear too. On our recommendations for upkeep - One of the two mattresses we couldn’t sleep on so we moved to the other for a better sleep. The restaurant bathroom downstairs was very dirty the morning of our stay. It needs a refresh. Overall a great place still and good location and would still recommend.

It is unfortunate to hear that you couldn't sleep on one of the mattresses in your room and the bathroom was dirty in the morning. I will pass your message onto management.

There were only 3 or 4 properties on the main road out of 40, and they couldn’t move me into any other room though I asked. It was loud, very loud, and I couldn’t have the door open, even at night because by 6am the traffic started again and woke me up. The staff were nice! I’ll say that much :) A few issues: The TV malfunctioned 5min after walking in. The heavy marble table top wasn’t even secured onto the legs, so it fell off when I moved it, thankfully not on my foot. The carpet was torn in numerous places. And the fridge was turned on it’s highest which froze my food. However when I turned the fridge temperature down onto a more suitable setting, it started the smell like urine. Pretty much I feel they gave me one of there worst rooms and didn’t give me another room. I would have stayed, at half the price I was made to pay in that particular rooms. I would have paid full price for a room on any other of the three sides!!!
