This place does have the upmarket vibe that I think you're looking for when you select it. The problem is that the management is not on top of it. Just little niggles everywhere that let it down. A forgotten/missed breakfast card hanging on the door. An absent concierge for too long while waiting to check in. A crazy excuse for not immediately seating us in the more-than-half-empty restaurant ... then serving us at the bar the exact food we'd have ordered in the restaurant ... it came from the kitchen that supposedly couldn't receive us in the restaurant! These are the signs of a management that doesn't know how to do service. The staff themselves were happy and attentive perfect really. Just let down by systems and management sadly.

Room had big stains on the carpet. The only chair in thre room was broken so you could not sit on it. Bedside table was broken and could not put anything on it. Only had one small bottle of water in the room. Had to call twice to request another ironing board as the one in the room was broken and waited over an hour before they bought another one to the room

Poor understanding of Safety.

When checking in we were directed to parking. We were told There was maintenance so there would be no boom gate. When went to the garage and the parking was four storeys up. When we parked we found the whole area blacked out in complete darkness. The lifts were also not working. We rang down to reception and asked if there was a plan to get us down. The reception advised us to walk. This was not acceptable as we had several heavy bags and we did not feel safe walking down the stairs in complete darkness. We asked for assistance which did not turn up. We eventually parked in an area closer to the ground and risked having our car towed as it did not belong to the hotel. The manager in charge was dismissive and gave incorrect instructions. (Endeaver was his name. ) There seems to be no plan for the safety of patrons. It is inconceivable that we should be asked to stumble around in the dark with heavy baggage with not even security lighting to help. Very poor planning and execution of this situation.

Convenience and quality

For a corporate hotel near the airport, the Pullman is surprisingly nice, with spacious, modern, clean rooms. Also, the area around the hotel is great for a variety of ethnic cuisines. I've stayed here twice now, several years apart, and would do so again for the convenience and quality.
