The staff were fabulous. We were upgraded to a harbour view room because the bath was dirty and there were holes in the wall of our first room. The new room had a fair bit of black mould growing around the shower and bath. There we’re missing tiles in the spa which made the edge of the seat sharp and it would be easy to cut yourself if you sat on it. The breakfast we had was appalling. We ordered the bacon eggs and tomato. One plate came without tomato the other had 2 tiny cherry tomatoes on it. There was only 1/2 a strip of soggy bacon on each plate. It was the tail part. The round part of the rasher was not included.

Loved the location. Kitchen renovated. Bathroom wasn't. At this price point would like to have seen bathrooms done.

After all this COVID19 and not being able to travel we decided to book this (supposed) 5 star hotel for a bit of rest, relaxation and pampering. What a massive disappointment that turned out to be. We booked a harbour view room with a spa which was over $500 per night. Of course as soon as we checked in we wanted to commence our relaxation by having a spa only to find out once we were in it it was not working. They sent maintenance around the next day to fix it but too little to late. So as you do we decided to order room service only to be told that no room service was available on the nights we chose to stay. We were then told that the restaurant was also closed and would have to get dinner out of the hotel. What a joke. This information should have been told to us prior to booking as we would not have stayed there. We were thoroughly disappointed in the whole experience. People are looking for great travel experiences within Australia during this pandemic and unfortunately this place is not one people should try. I would not stay here again with the way things went. Hopefully they sort out there issues and we may try them out again in the future.
