Service was very lacking. The room and the hotel are very attractive but for the first two days we had no room service. The first day, we let the front desk know and still by the evening we had no room service. We needed to stay an extra night and were charged double the room rate we had paid for the other nights. None of the Expedia perks were delivered without us asking.

It was a great location and super cool hotel. However the rooms were a bit musty and not as clean as I had hoped. Couches a bit worn and bathrooms not super clean. Otherwise a good stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Ovolo Woolloomooloo and would happily give it a 5-star rating. The food was delicious, with a great assortment at breakfast. The staff were genuinely accommodating — even arranging a burger for us outside of normal hours, which was much appreciated. Our room was excellent: modern, very comfortable, and still cozy. We were kindly upgraded to a more spacious room, which made the stay even more special. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and high quality. The only small improvement could be better blackout curtains, as early morning light does come through, but this was definitely not a deal breaker. The waterfront setting is beautiful and perfect for morning walks. Overall, a great experience, and we will definitely stay here again.

Our stay was average. The staff were nice, the location of the hotel itself was good. Only a 30min stroll to the circular quay/Opera house with gardens/museum on the way and plenty of fabulous restaurants downstairs on the wharf. Our room was wharf side on level 3 right next to the laundry room/ lift which was quite noisy, we were woken by a loading truck each morning. The bathroom lighting was quite poor and needed a decent extractor fan. Did have a nice cocktail in the bar area, the decor is pretty and inviting. Overall an OK stay.

Poor service for a 5-star hotel. I asked for two bottles of water at 2 p.m., and after requesting three times, I finally received them at 9 p.m. Room service is also very poor, they don’t clean the room, they just make the bed. Overall, great location and a friendly vibe!!
