Was like staying in a sauna! Aircon didn’t work and apart from attempting to try and get someone to look at it no one turned up! Three kids my husband and I in one room it was horrible, not to mention not clean at all!!

The stay was immediately interrupted with stress from the staff due to payment theft and taken over $750 more than the needed payment. This ruined my families holiday and even upset my children's stay. The bathrooms were mouldy and the bedrooms were dusty. Very disappointed. I am still fighting for my money back over a week later and the staff are very unprofessional and non-cooperative.

Really disappointing that Novotel actually put their name to this extremely dated and worn out hotel. For the price, extremely disappointing! The room had a mouldy odour to it, the carpet thread bear, water stains on the ceiling etc. The hotel lobby area is the same era as the rooms in decor. Serious revamp needed

Mould on the ceiling above air on. Rang reception and they moved us to a new room which was fine, but again there was mould on the inside of the air con vents and lots of it. The staff were lovely and the restaurants pool and spa were great. But the hotel really needs a renovation. I paid $718 for two nights and got a hotel that seemed to be dated in the early 2000’s if not late 90’s this motel desperately needs a renovation. Wallpaper was peeling off inside the room. The tiles in the bathroom had holes in them. Outdated big chunky wardrobes that took up a lot of space. All in all I was disappointed in the hotel but the staff were great

This hotel is stuck in the 1980’s. We booked a suite - however I would hardly call it a suite. Carpet was dirty, the room smelt, the curtains were ripped and shabby. The bathroom had mould on the bath tiles. The furniture In the room was old and unkept. The hallway leading from the elevator to the room smelt unpleasant. The front door of the room didn’t lock properly and the room wasn’t noise proof. When people walking from elevator through corridor you could hear everything they were saying. Other hotel guests yelling at each other over the balconies was unpleasant as well. If it wasn’t for the conference I was attending I would not have stayed here and won’t recommend it. The hotel needs a good renovation and update. I was very disappointed about the room amount of money I was charged for the room.

We asked for water views and we got water views! Our huge balcony over the water really made it for me. And the bed was huge, soft and heavenly to sleep in. Decor needs an update to match the rest of the motel it's a bit old - luxurious looking but a bit shabby. Staff wonderful.

Stayed for the night prior to taking and early flight. Hotel staff at check in were friendly and helpful. Our room was great and very clean. We would stay there again.

The staff were excellent but we stayed there 20 years ago and it looked the same not updated at all and for the expensive room it was in a deteriorated condition.
