Dirty stained carpet No bedhead or bed side table exposed wiring microwave sitting on top of a tall fridge Fridge at the bottom of the bed dirty veranda, old uncomfortable small table and chairs etc.

Property was in an ideal location. Property was quite run-down and in urgent need of an update to door seals etc. to stop wind noise & drafts.

It was very well placed for Luna Park, where we needed to be. The security was very high. The kitchen was tiny. Thank goodness we hadn't planned to do any sort of cooking or eating in the apartment. Otherwise it would have been difficult. There was no normal supply of toiletries like shampoos and lotions etc. We hadn't taken any with us expecting to be provided, as is usual. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We might return to it again in the future

My apartment was well equipped with everything I needed and more - kitchenette with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, hob plus washing up liquid and teatowels etc. I also had a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer; iron and ironing board, and hairdryer too. The wardrobe and drawers were spacious but the hangers could've been updated - out of shape metal ones are a little old but now I'm nitpicking!! The television had numerous channels to choose from. The table and chairs were handy and the table lamp came in handy. The sofa was comfortable too. The clock radio was a useful touch. I felt very secure too, as the door would always close firmly and i didn't feel vulnerable (as a lone traveller). Security to get into the building, both via the main entrance and car park, was by key fob - even using the lift needed a key fob so I knew nobody could get anywhere who shouldn't be there. The welcome I received was great too and a nice touch to be shown to my apartment and given instructions on what was there and how to use it. I felt this was a nice touch. Location is great. It's practically under the Harbour Bridge - well about 150 metres away! Public transport is right on the doorstep - bus stop, train station and ferry - all within a couple of minutes walk.

Pros: Location. Close to shops and public transport
Cons: No free internet. What there is is slow and spot sensitive
Location: Perfect
Some soap, shampoo etc would have been good
