This was a very comfortable hotel in a great location. It would be nice to have some milk in the fridge and a few snack options. We were staring at a concrete wall but we didn’t spend too much time in our room.

The room was filthy , cups , cutlery and plates all with dirt/grease/grime. Our bath mat had brown stains on it. We also had no house keeping which I’m assuming is due to covid . This was not communicated to us at all. Our biggest issue was that we asked for early check in due to our flights in being early. The man working said that’s completely fine and won’t be an issue at all. Upon arrival (10am) to the hotel he said that the room wasn’t ready but will be soon as we have priority check in/cleaning. Obviously not an issue at the time as there is staffing issues everywhere. At 1pm (!) we tried to check in again and the room was not ready. The lady said that the cleaners were in our room and it should be ready soon. She said they would call us when it’s ready. At 3pm (original checkin time) we spoke to Matthew on the front desk who had just started. He said that our room still wasn’t ready and that it would be at least another half an hour. He was the only person who was apologetic at all and tried to fix the issue by offering wine /late check out but unfortunately we had an early flight out so couldn’t accept . There’s obviously an issue with communication at this establishment. If they had simply said that early checkin wasn’t available at any stage of the day it would’ve allowed us to plan something else with our day rather than sitting in a lobby all day. We were also lied to about the cleaners being “in our room” which most definitely leaves a bad taste.

Good morning Jess, My apologies for what was a dreadful experience, with the amount of issues that you encountered I am not expecting you to be out of pocket for this stay. It is correct that COVID has impacted manning & skills with in the industry however this does not take away the basics which have clearly been missed this time. The position is great. We had an issue with the shower and the staff moved us to another room. Both rooms were one bedroom and spacious. I will definitely stay here again.

The apartment was great. However, there was no house keeping. Using COVID as a excuse is not exceptable. Why is it a risk? Should have been told prior. Secondly, the pool was ice cold not heated. One whole day the spa was out for maintenance totally unacceptable. Our trip was to relax and have fun. Once again should be told prior to booking. It would be good if you had some beverages that you could sell or light snacks. Vending machines may be a good idea. Had to make several trips to 7-11 for water, chips and chocolates could have purchased it from you. Should have free cable / netflix. It would not connect to my devices. Just incorporate it in the price. Tried to call house keepeing and the front desk several times but no one answered. Then I had to go down stairs and ask for towels!! Pretty unprofressional. Bins were also full but hey no house keeping hate to think if I was there for a extended period. Great Apartments but pretty poor service.

I would however like to clarify a couple of points, our pool is automatically checked 24/7 & at no stage has it dropped below the set temperature which our guest find warm so slightly confused how it was ice cold? The spa hasn't been closed for an extended period of time since my arrival here (start of February) so unsure when you stayed? As we are apartments we provide different servicing options compared to a traditional hotel, we offer a light service upon request & a full service either upon request or once every week. I will however investigate & discuss with the team the reasons for the missed calls as this is not acceptable & will be rectified.
