It’s an Ibis so don’t expect 5 stars. The queen room was very small but perfect for my two night stay. I love the location, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms however could be updated. Also, the walls in my room (103) were filthy and need to wiped down. I could tell people had spilled liquids that left marks, and dead bugs. That said, the sheets were clean and the bed comfortable. It was a quiet room away from the road noise which was perfect for me, but no view (not something I cared about). The shower is small, so a large person would struggle to move easily. The room I had was fine for one person but it would have been squishy had my husband also stayed with me. There isn’t enough room to hold two sets of luggage or clothing in the room. Also, very little space to put out toiletries in the bathroom. I’d happily stay again for a night or two as I do love the location and it’s perfectly comfortable.

The staff was amazing . The lady at the cafe was so sweet and remembered my order from the day before. They kindly gave us an extra room no charge because they didn’t have a room available with a fold away couch. Very good location.

The rooms were basic, but clean, and as described. Probably better for a solo or business traveller as there was limited space for luggage and to unpack clothing. The breakfast offering was very good - an a la carte menu offering. The location was well connected to all the key sights of Sydney. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Good stay, clean and tidy room and great location for anywhere you may wish to go in the city. A/C did not seem to work very well, even when turned right down it did not cool the room. Other than that there were no issues with our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly, would stay again

Stayed here overnight for a show at the Lyric Theatre I’ll break these down into sections. Check In: -Fast, efficient and friendly Room: -Bed and pillows were comfortable. -Shower pressure and size, not great, enough space to sit on the throne and room to put things in general. Was weird not to have hanging hooks, that was a miss for me. -clean and tidy, not a lot of storage space at all. -Not a lot of toiletries and weirdly no trash bags in the bins. Location: -Simple walk down to Darling Harbor which was great. -Gentle up hill walk to the main shopping areas. -It’s Sydney so the usual grubbyness around, but felt safe enough with my 11YO. Overall -Fine for a night or two, well priced and simple to get to and from. Just don’t expect greatness.

This hotel was handy to a transit station and the harbour front. The staff were polite and attentive. Even though they have tried hard to block out the street noise, it was still somewhat noisy in the room.
