Such a great location. Minutes to the train and about half an hour to the city. Beautifully cared for building that was the icing on the cake.

It is a charming property , and located in a beautiful street close to quirky businesses and cafes When you are a first time customer , you rely on photos and descriptions to provide a realistic picture of your stay , when there is a discrepancy, and something feels wrong , it’s because you gleaned an impression of the online presentation. Our room was miniature and peculiar, everything was squeezed into the tiniest of spaces . Even one person would feel claustrophobic. The professional service with smiles and assistance was appreciated but this is not a hotel , it’s a guest house . clearly communicate to people the dimensions of the room they are paying for, also that it’s about a communal laundry and the most basic amenities. We had just returned from Europe and even there we had not encountered such a minuscule room , it’s all about altered expectations and a sense that someone is making money from a piece of hallway space

Lovely no frills hotel that provides clean modern rooms at a reasonable price. Staff were great to deal with. Will definitely be going back.

Concierge/reception service was poor. Had organised in advance transport to and from airport, confirmed with reception day prior that driver would pick me up, PAID IN ADVANCE ALSO! Told to head to reception and check out 15 mins prior, waited 40mins and after pushing reception to get in contact with service company to confirm whereabouts, they told me it wasn’t booked and nobody was on the way to pick me up. I showed them tax invoice and all they said was well give you your money back. I was highly likely to miss my flight at this stage. No apology, no offer to organise a ride ASAP as it was their team that messed up my driver. I called my own Uber and raced to my flight with minutes to spare. It was exhausting, stressful and ruined what could have been a great weekend in Sydney. Will not stay at any of group hotels again, advised all my colleagues and fellow companies (I’m in the hospitality industry) of incident. Disappointed and poor service.
