Great stay at a lovely hotel. The rooms looked to have been very recently refurbished - am sure I could smell new carpet!! Right in the middle of the city, opposite the State Theatre and right in the middle of the shopping precinct. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel

"Good hotel, great location"
Good hotel, would definitely stay there again. Clean new room, if a little bit on the small side, but fantastic location and excellent value for money with the present discounted rates.

"Loved it!"
The staff on reception were very friendly and let me know about the free wifi and movies (over 80 available including new releases). The room was very nice, spacious, great bed and nice bathroom which opens onto the bedroom. I've stayed in many hotels and this was definitely one of the best.

"Right in the Sydney city"
This is a very convenient hotel, the one we stayed at had its own kitchen and laundry. Hotel is located right in the Sydney City CBD. If you happen to stay here right next door are the food shops. Try the Aqua S ice cream next door is a must!

"Pure luxury!"
I booked a night at the Westin to celebrate my wife's Birthday. I choose this Hotel as have stayed previously and cannot fault the experience we had. The welcoming staff upgraded our room to a Deluxe suite and we had a lovely plate of fruit/nuts delivered to our room with a note wishing my wife a Happy Birthday. This was a wonderful surprise and added to our wonderful experience. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The bedding was awesome and comfortable. I cannot fault this hotel. the whole experience was amazing and we will continue to share our special occasions at the Westin. Thanks!

"nice hotel close to Hyde park"
front desk staff training could be improved and recognition of regular guests . Upon checking in I requested a twin bed room but none were available so the alternative offered by reception is to pay an extra 90$ a night to put a roller bed , we refused on principle basis but ended up using the couch in the room (2 guys on a business trip). The receptionist clearly stated that we would have a better outcome if we have booked through SPG website and not wotif which upset me even further . SPG website is not as user friendly as Wotif , and the issue should not be pushed in this way . I am sure that the roller beds stayed unused as not many Aussies will pay 90$ for one , and Sheraton had two unsatisfied and not coming back customers , classic bad business .

Check out our Darling Harbour accommodation to be nice and close to these hot tourist spots.

Fans of natural history and creatures great and small should visit the Australian Museum. An internationally-renowned institution, the museum has millions of items on display, including dinosaur fossils, insects and various cultural artefacts.
