"Perfect city location"
Great hotel located 2 mins walk from Town Hall and Museum stations. Excellent service from the moment you step foot in the foyer to the moment you leave. Rooms were spacious and perfectly appointed. Beds very comfortable. I had an excellent buffet breakfast. If you have time, there is a great bar on the rooftop.

"Renovated rooms, great location"
I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation at Swissotel Sydney. My twin room looked newly renovated, with contemporary new carpet and furnishings, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. There wasn't much of a view, being on the 11th floor, but the room was quiet, which was good. The bed was super comfy as well.

"Central Location & Comfortable Rooms"
The only thing that was disappointing about our stay here was that the wifi wasn't very good. It kept turning on and off, it was slow, and every time it turned off you had to log on again. The staff was friendly and helpful. :)

The heart of Sydney is also home to some of Australia’s most famous attractions, such as the Sydney Opera House. With its distinctive design and reputation as a world-class performing arts venue, it’s no wonder the Opera House is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearby is the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium (with exhibits that will make you feel like you’re at the Great Barrier Reef!), and the Powerhouse Museum, a great place to visit for science geeks. Check out our Darling Harbour accommodation to be nice and close to these hot tourist spots.

Fans of natural history and creatures great and small should visit the Australian Museum. An internationally-renowned institution, the museum has millions of items on display, including dinosaur fossils, insects and various cultural artefacts. Or if you’d rather see live animals, why not visit Taronga Zoo? This beloved Sydney venue houses lions, elephants and iconic Aussie animals like koalas and the Tasmanian Devil. Located on the shores of Sydney Harbour, the view from the zoo is incredible too!

Shopaholics will find plenty to keep them occupied in the Sydney CBD too. Upmarket shoppers will love the luxury stores along King and Castlereagh Street as well as the many boutiques which have set up shop within Westfield Sydney. The Queen Victoria Building, a shopping arcade featuring late nineteenth-century architecture and a ten metre clock, is popular with both shoppers and tourists alike. If you’re on a budget, visit Paddy’s Markets.. Here you can find everything from souvenirs to fresh produce. If you’re in the Chinatown area on Friday night, take the time to wander through the Chinatown Nightmarket, which is open from 4PM to 11PM.

Once you’ve shopped ‘til you’ve dropped, head back to your Sydney City hotel to drop off your bags before going to explore Sydney’s nightlife.
