The aircon didn't work in all 3 bedrooms for our whole 3 night stay. The bucket and soggy towel in the wardrobe to catch drips suggests they already knew there was a problem. We complained and got "sorry about that, we'll send a fan up". The fan never arrived, and we had to chase them up again. It was cool enough with the fans blowing cold air in from the living room but we couldn't close any of the bedroom doors at night for privacy, which wasn't great.
The shelf above the kitchen sink was dirty/greasy and it was obvious whenever they clean they only quickly wipe around the items on it with a damp cloth and not any spray. There was an almost empty carton of milk in the fridge (and no full one) so we couldn't make tea/coffee the first morning.
On the second day we came back from sightseeing to find housekeeping had been but never finished. All of the towels were in a pile on the floor, 1 bed had been made, and one of the bathroom rubbish bins was up on the kitchen counter, full of rubbish. Reception made a note and told us they'd be back later to finish, but they never came. We got another "sorry about that, let me give you some more towels".
On the Friday night the restaurant overcharged us $40. We brought the mistake to their attention of Sunday morning and they gave us two bottles of wine for free with dinner Sunday night, so it worked out in the end.
We've stayed at the resort many times. We'll probably stay at Brighpoint next time.
