Clean room with everything that was needed Really lovely staff. Hotel overall was nice Only disappointment was the swim up bar, the cocktails weren’t great and took forever to be made & there weren’t a lot of people around being off season We ended up going back upstairs for our own drinks and nibblies Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs with your luggage if your on the higher levels

Overall average stay. Will note that the room could have been cleaner. We was placed next to room that had work being done and our amenities were empty upon arriving to the room such as conditioner and shampoo as well as the balcony being dirty. As noted by the hotel they only change your pool and normal bathroom towels every 4 days I would bare this in mind when booking as you don’t feel very clean during your experience especially if visiting in the unpredictable weather. Apart from that the staff were extremely friendly especially the lady on reception and the pool bar and staff were great. Good experience overall if looking for a budget friendly stay.

Great stay!! Staff were helpful, room was lovely and pools were so good! Breakfast was just the job and the gym was good too. Liked the feeling of being in a hotel but left alone and not bothered by housekeeping, concierge etc. Being independent in our apart/rooms but using all the facilities felt perfect :D

The pool was unique. We didn't swim but it was nice to look at from our ground floor room. The front desk was very helpful giving us directions to the beach, restaurants. The room above us was noisy. It sounded like they were moving furniture and lasted for about an hour 9-10 PM. It would be nice if they served breakfast at 6 PM. We had an early snorkel trip.

The hotel is just out of town. 15 mins walk and 20 mins walk to the Superyacht marina. It’s a beautiful hotel. We had room 57 which was large and included a kitchen, dining table and lounge area. Large bathroom with tub and large balcony overlooking the pool and lagoon swim up bar. Ideally situated. Happy hour is 4-5pm. There’s lots of little nooks to explore. The main pool and 2 lap pools at the rear of the hotel. We didn’t come across the fitness centre or games room but they’re on the map. There’s a tennis court and a spa/bbq near to the breakfast room, aswell as more BBQ’s near the lap pools. We added breakfast onto our booking which was much cheaper than paying locally. There’s a bottle shop directly opposite the hotel. I loved the open feel to the hotel. No front doors. The reception area has a comfortable seating area with a small coffee bar and big overhead fans. All open plan and overlooking the pool. There’s a pathway at the rear that leads onto 4mile beach. You can do the scenic walk but wouldn’t recommend doing it in flip flops lol. It’s steep and rocky in places but manageable. It was my birthday and there was a bottle of bubbles and a birthday card waiting when we arrived. Very much appreciated. There’s a Coles and small Kmart in the town. Lots of bars and restaurants and bottle shops. Market day is Sunday and Wednesday. Port Douglas is beautiful.
