The pool was good but besides that.nothing.unless you stay for 8 nights or more your room will not be cleaned and they are super small.you have to collect your own towels and there was mould all over lamps.my bed was two singles put together instead of a king and the pillows and blankets smelled like damp filthy vomit.had to have them replace everything and still just left the mould.waaay better mantras or resorts around there for the same price or less.also its super noisy.stay elsewhere.

The room was tiny. No housekeeping whatsoever during the stay. Have to ask for fresh towels. Incomplete crockery and leaking fridge. Staff disinterested. Ordered a coffee at reception, waited 25 minutes and cancelled. The pool is small but adequate. Easy access to the beach and 15 min walk to town. No room service! All food served at the bar is fried and unhealthy. Would not recommend and would not stay in this hotel again. Pay a bit more and stay in peppers or Sheraton.

To say I am disappointed with my stay is an understatement.For our first holiday in over 12 months I am utterly unimpressed & disgusted by the service received at this place.Upon checking in I was greeted by reception with no smile, no welcome and felt that checking in was an inconvenience for the staff member who served me.had researched a number of options for my first time in port Douglas & my expectations were as high as the cost of the accommodation.We were given a map of how to get to our room & no assistance in how to transport our luggage through the maze of a map that was handed to us upon check in. I managed to locate a trolley myself which was difficult to move our luggage with no assistance what so ever. Until all the bags fell off & another guest offered assistance and the one nice staff member helped us with the reminder of the journey to our room.Once we got to our room (20 minutes following a map of a maze) the room was great, tidy as expected. I went back to reception to ask a few questions about food etc which again seemed like an inconvenience for the staff member. “You can order pizza & chips at the pool bar” the pool bar which closes at 5pm.Mind you there was not one QR code to check in around the resort.My understanding is this is a qld government requirement in the hospitality industry. was advised there was no food facilities was explained this was due to Covid no mention of any local shops or restaurants.unfortunately we received horrible service

While it was nearly 5:00 pm when we got to check into our room (rather than the 2 pm check in time) the hotel did try by offering a complimentary beverage and some bar food out by the pool. While the effort was appreciated, it is not really ok for someone who has been travelling all day, to be sent to sit out by the pool where it was very hot and noisy. We could not get an estimate of when we would be able to check in. Knowing if it was likely to be 3 hours before we could get our room would have had us searching for an alternative hotel, or go and do another activity. The pool was busy, but the water looked like soup so not tempting at all. Room was adequate yet I had the mis-fortune to drop something on the floor and it went under the bed and it was very dirty underneath which just added to the ‘rather not stay here again’ vibe for us.

Key feature is the pool, suitable for singles, couples and families with children of all ages. Smallest kitchen I’ve ever seen in an apartment makes it difficult for long stays especially if you have a family and want to cook some meals. Tiled floors in the unit are not smooth and holds a lot of dirt. You wouldn’t want to put your baby on the floor. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
