Welcoming staff, got a free upgrade from a twin to a king, comfy and clean room. Have stayed before and found the restaurant not as comfy and relaxing as before the restoration but service still great

A great family hotel... However, it was disappointing that when I put 2 adults and 3 children (and the kids ages) in the search engine, this hotel came up with 2 options... One with and one without breakfast. I chose the breakfast option, thinking how great.. I didn't need to worry about that... But after completing the booking, and paying for it on wotif, discovered on the confirmation email that the breakfast was only for 2 adults! The other disappointing thing was on arrival, we were asked to pay a bond of $250, that we were not told about... We had to work something else out, but it certainly put a dampner on our stay. The actual room, facilities, pool, vicinity to town etc was great... Just unfortunate those two incidences made a poor impression... Would stay there again, but next time, will be forewarned!!!
