The rooms have a weird layout. You cannot walk around the bed. One side is hard up against a wall.

We had such a great experience at the hotel! All staff were lovely, the rooms were set up with everything we needed, the showers and beds were amazing, and the constant access to sparkling water was a very fun bonus. I'll be back!

We paid more than $500 a night. There was no where to pull up to check in. No parking available so we had to park a block away and carry luggage from there. Room was very small and sparsely furnished - nowhere to sit comfortably other than the bed. Noise at night from traffic and music from nearby pubs was very loud. Breakfast was good quality but limited offerings. Limited staff on duty.

A very clean and extremely quiet room in a bustling area. Easy access to shops and restaurants .Service in The Gimlet was excellent. Would have preferred a more exciting breakfast for the calibre of hotel but that is just a minor grumble. It is still our most favourite place to stay in Freo. We will be back again. Thank you.

Complimentary mini bar was an unusual touch. The offer of complimentary sparkling or still water on tap was a great idea. Buffet breakfast adequate but would recommend maybe more options eg: deli meats, cheese. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
