Hotels In Perth Central Business District

Perth is a unique city, with all the comforts of modern urban life, yet also in touch with nature. Our Perth City hotels are the perfect base for exploring "Australia's sunniest capital city", located right on the banks of the Swan River.

Things to Do

The city's cultural heritage and beautiful 19th century architecture, combined with modern buildings and commodities, add to the charming character of inner-city Perth. When you head to the Perth Cultural Centre, you can browse the halls of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, peer into the inner-city wetland, let the kids loose on the playground or have lunch at the rooftop urban orchard. Afterwards, wander down William Street for an afternoon of shopping. Some of the other popular shopping precincts in the city are Hay St, Barrack St, Murray St and King St, where you can pick up stylish fashion items and Aboriginal art pieces in the boutique stores. Especially popular is London Court on Hay St, famous for its Elizabethan-style architecture and open roof, which drenches shoppers in natural sunlight. If you appreciate historical architecture and buildings, make sure you visit Barracks Arch, built in 1863 to control the influx of convicts to Perth. These days, if you stand underneath the arch, you'll have a perfectly clear view, straight through to Parliament House. Perth Mint is another must-see attraction, as it's one of the oldest mints in the world still in operation. While you're here, you'll have the opportunity to handle gold bars worth a fortune, watch the gold being poured in the Melting House, and maybe even purchase some collector coins.

Getting Here

The airport is only 10km away from the CBD and it's easy to get around by walking or cycling, but the city's public transportation system is also fantastic. It's as simple as jumping aboard a FREE bus to get around most parts of the inner city, or boarding a train if you're planning on visiting the outskirts of the city. If you're heading to South Perth or the zoo, you can also hop on a ferry. While you're here, wot about exploring Subiaco and catching an AFL game? Or maybe you'd prefer to hit the beach and the markets of Fremantle, which is only half an hour away by train? If you're keen to sip some of Australia's finest wine, you can embark on a tour in the Swan Valley wine region, only 20km from Perth's CBD.

So wot are you waiting for? Check out these cheap flights to Perth and book your Perth City accommodation with us today!
