"Novotel"
This hotel just was not for me. I was expecting a lot more for what I paid for. The rooms were a bit out dated furniture wise but bed was VERY comfy and the bathroom was lovely. I had a room with the balcony. I could hear everything that went on in the other bedrooms and when people were out on the balcony it was very loud. The location was very nice and easy to get to but I personally will not be staying there again. I feel as though this place is more family friendly and would be great parents to bring their children.

"Comfortable apartments - convenient location."
The location of the units is great. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, but the shower needed some scrubbing - it was quite mouldy. I would definitely stay again.

"wollongong is great"
Good facilities and great room. One lift for all floors/rooms was a problem. Sometimes couldn't get in because it was full. Up to a 20 minute wait. Room wasn't spotless but bed was clean and the room was comfortable. Staff were great.

"Old style hotel"
It was on old style hotel, so it met my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the location was good for my family visit. Parking was a challenge on Saturday night when I came back from a family dinner, with restaurant guests taking up the avaiblable car spots... so I moved my car into a legal car park around 11.00pm. Next day the desk staff said I should have called the night manager to get a spot - next time. I will probably stay there again because of the price and location.

"Well located in Wollongong for all activities"
The hotel is clean comfortable and quiet, staff are friendly, professional and helpful. On the other hand Wotif is a pain to deal with and the website is getting harder for people with vision impairment such as I to use. I do not use a mobile phone so having that as a compulsory field in the booking sheet is a drama, Hotel Great Wotif sucks

"Very comfortable spacious studio unit. "
Fantastic location close to the city beach. Many quality restaurants, Win Stadium and Entertainment Centre around the corner. Studio room very spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside is they advertise free Wifi but you only get 100mb a day which seems to disappear in an instant. The parking at $12 a day is expensive and not guaranteed. A few times I have had to park on the street at night which is not ideal as it can be hard yo Aldo get s street park. But overall an extremely pleasant stay.

"Convenient hotel for us"
Room very comfortable. Bathroom lighting inadequate. My wife had to use a torch to do her hair. Hotel hair drier didn't work. Dining is club style but adequate (it is after all a golf club).

"Small room but great location"
We opted for the petite room because it was cheaper and it was quite adequate for our needs. It was clean and has everything a larger room would. The restaurant is excellent, especially the Dutch apple pie, yum!
