A Soothing and Seamless Stay – Perfect for Work or Leisure. YFD (Your Funeral Director) stayed at the Sage Hotel for one night due to its close proximity to City Beach Function Centre, where we were conducting a service. The room was comfortable, clean, and came with a lovely surprise—a balcony with breathtaking views of the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was incredibly soothing after a long day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a real highlight—especially the King Prawn pasta dish, which was absolutely outstanding. I’d return just for that meal alone! The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the undercover parking was a huge bonus, particularly with all our YFD luggage and equipment. Looking forward to coming back for a recreational visit next time.

Good view with Delicious room service

Good size room with King bed made up of 2 single beds. Upgraded room with balcony and arena and beach views. Room service delicious both dinner and breakfast. Under cover car parking. Only negative was noisy neighbours running up and down the corridor at 2.30am 🙄. I would stay here again for the food alone 😉

So close to everything

The hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We got upgraded and the view was amazing. The pool was surperb and the cabanas were comfortable.

I had the executive suite for two nights. Everything was great except two things I wish to mention. The TV needs to be better and smart allowing to watch or stream platforms like Netflix or Prime etc. Secondly the aircon could be better. I set it at 16 degrees and high fan mode but still it used to get hot during the night. Otherwise we had a good time and would definitely recommend your hotel to our friends. We will be visiting again surely. Thank you to your staff they are amazing.

Friendly Staff, but in need of a reno

Staff were friendly and the location was great. However, the hotel is in need some of love and a proper clean. Our room (904) was by the lifts and incredibly noisey, not helped by the large gap at the bottom of the front door. Within the room, the curtains and TV were visibly broken, the remainder of the room was run down and tired. For the price, would stay at one of the serviced apartments in the city instead.

This property is perfect for someone who was going to WIN Stadium for a football game as it’s just across the road. It is a 20 minute walk to shops and cafes and so not located centrally but is close to the beach. Most restaurants in the area are not open for dinner on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. We were there on a Tuesday and so ate in the hotel restaurant and had a nice meal. The staff were all pleasant and at all times, helpful.
