The propert is basically a pub. The rooms are functional but well appointed. There was little to no noise from the pub on Saturady night. The pub had a good kitchen with enough choices to eat and prices quite reasonable. Plenty of parking out the back. A good low key place to stay outside the cbd and beachfronts. Equi-distant from about all attractions. Good value for money.

The Coniston Hotel is good value for what it provides and is close to Wollongong. Room was clean; bed comfy. Just be aware they are currently undergoing renovation to the downstairs pub during the week so you may experience noise after 7am. We would stay again.

Everything was excellent at the Coniston hotel except for two minor issues which did not really affect our stay. The sheer curtains in the room had big tears in them from too much exposure to sunlight and simply need to be replaced and the half flush on the toilet did not work, but everything else in the bathroom was brand-new and excellent. The guest amenities were very good, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this venue to prospective guests.
