We were greeted by the staff in a very friendly manner. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and where was good to eat. Although we visited during a public holiday there was still plenty to do. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the television (the previous guest had unplugged something) but it was fixed by the maintenance man (JC?) within 10 minutes. The room was always cleaned daily and there was always plenty of complimentary teas and coffees. These were topped up on a daily basis as was the water. The room had plenty of hangers in the wardrobe, an iron and a hairdryer. The towels were lovely and soft too. I think most of the rooms are set up with a desk, but I would like to have seen a small sofa so that we didn't have to sit on the bed to watch tv. This was the only thing I would have changed. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and there were plenty of towels and sunbeds. Overall, this was an excellent stay for us. I did read some of the reviews and felt that they were unfair so I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so lovely. Beautiful hotel at a reasonable price, located in downtown Sydney. Went with my three tweens and husband for vacation and it was wonderful. Worth paying extra for breakfast which is a bargain for a plethora of food to choose like chef baking omelette. Cool roof top pool, next to a mall and convenient to walk or take the Tram.

Great place, superb service.

Our stay at the swissotel was great, we always celebrate some of the special moments at swissotel and the quality hasn't changed at all.. it was only one night stay but we enjoyed every minute of it. Also service at the lounge was superb. I didn't catch their names but during canape hours and breakfast in the morning hotelier/server were kind and thoughful.

Never got to see the property. Expedia pulled a bait and switch on the price and dates & despite contact in 30 seconds cancellation wasnt allowed &full cost required for dates unusable to me. Would love to have spent time at Swissotel. I’m sure they’re a good hotel

Great location. Parked at queen victoria building. Should have free parking for guests. Walking distance to shops and darling harbour.

All about location here but the decor of the foyer, lobby and bar are really nice. The room was good, was a tight fit for five of us but was really nice to be all together. Our hand towel rail was loose on the wall and there was a large lint ball on the carpet when we arrived but otherwise the room was great. You need to take two sets of lifts to get to your room but that isn't a deal breaker, just takes you the extra step to get out or in. Will definitely stay there again!

Everything from the minute we entered the hotel to checkout was awesome. We were greeted at the front and our luggage was taken. Instructed where to go to get checked in and the lobby was so inviting. We weren't able to get checked in early but our traveling companions were so they brought our luggage to their room. When we did get our room, they came up to assist in moving our luggage. Pool was nice, but a little small especially when the weekend came. Would have been nice to have the bar up there but they had an issue with a storm and it was shut down. Over all you cannot miss if you stay here.

Was a very long line at check with not enough staff helping. Room wasn’t ready and was given cheapest drinks on the menu from the bar. Got a call room was ready and had to wait in the line again to get the key. Only 2 towels in bathroom. Haven’t received itemised bill for stay. Couldn’t check out manually. Had to do drop off key. Couldn’t get my name right, even in room my name was incorrect.
