"Lovely couple manage this motel, very helpful."
Fantastic management, willing to do anything to ensure you have a good stay. Rooms are old and in need of refurbishment, however, they were very clean, good amenities in the rooms. Great if you want a reasonably priced room near the hospital and CBD. Perhaps could have been a little cheaper due to age of rooms!

"Pleasant surprise, close to everything"
Booked this hotel as a 'mystery hotel' - was very pleasantly surprised; a great rate for a hotel that had everything we needed. We used it as a base to travel out and about from, so didn't use the in-house facilities much. In this context, it had everything we needed. Booking process and front-desk experience efficient and seamless.

"Closest to venue I needed to be at and affordable"
I went to Cairns to participate in the GBR Masters Games at the Pier. The hotel was nice and close and also handy to the Lagoon and city - it was clean and had all that I required. I didn't stay long enough to make use of all the facilities but I the cleanliness and service were fine.

"Stay here if you attend a Cairns Conference "
This hotel was the perfect place to stay for my conference in Cairns. So close, it was literally 1 block across the road! We arrived really early on the Monday, and had arranged to leave our luggage there so we could join or colleagues for the day. When we arrived late in the afternoon to formally check in , they had already taken our luggage to our room. Such a nice surprise (we were so tired from travelling etc). I didn't spend much time in our apartment, but my husband did, and he was very comfortable. Bed was super comfy. The couch and chairs weren't, but as I said, great if you are at conference. Had a free upgrade for apartment (we only booked hotel room). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't believe how little they charged to stow our luggage after checkout. Would definitely stay again.
