Not a good place to stay, the room I was given had a bad musty mouldy smell, the reception staff didn’t think that was much of a problem however managed to change rooms and this room smelt like bleach, the toilet seat was half broken and shower attachment was very loose on the wall. One door key didn’t even work and the other only worked half the time and sounds like other people had similar problems with the noise of guests banging their door. This is at the best maybe a three star hotel but asking 4star price. I would suggest staying anywhere else but this hotel.

Location was perfect. Booked a day trip to Green Island, the marina was just across the road, easy walk to casino and esplanade. Walked to Cairns Central, took around 10 mins. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. I would recommend to family and friends without hesitation.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Pacific Hotel Cairns. We loved staying there because of its central location, spacious rooms with balconies and lovely views from rooms at the top foors of the hotel. .

I was on the 9th floor and the view was spectacular. The rooms were big. I think a microwave in the room would have been good instead of going to the lounge, especially when the lounge is closed after hrs. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Little dated, very loud aircon/exhaust fan coming from car which i could hear in the bedroom. No parking on site as car park was full so had to park in the casino across the road $30-40 per night. Very good location in the centre. Probably wont be staying here again.

This property is a 2 star hotel at the same price as many of the much better 4-5 star places in Cairns. The furniture is cheap and old, things are broken and tatty. The advertising and photos are terribly misleading. I even paid more for a nicer and larger room. Absolutely not worth it. Such a disappointment to turn up to a place like this after spending so much money. There are many better places in Cairns for the same money.
