"Great hotel in the city"
My only disappointment was the breakfast, which was a let down compared with other high end hotels. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

"Last Minure business "
My wife booked Monday arrival to Thursday depart. Was lucky enough to get this room due to heavy bookings normally stay at the Ridges or Quay West Would gladly stay here again specially due to the VIP promotion and resonable valet parking rate. Air in the room was a bit dry complimentary water would be a good idea to help with hydration Well done

"Best decision"
I was so happy that I chose The Langham as a destination for accomodation. The staff and the facilities were outstanding. It is so close to places of interest and the CBD. Its just a short walk to The Domain and of course the bright lights of K.Rd. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.

"Very pleasant overall stay"
We only stayed here one night but were overall very pleased with the room. A little after checking in, we discovered that the cistern continued to run after the toilet was flushed (we waited almost an hour and it just kept going); after contacting reception, we were moved to another room. We had a nice view from our balcony and found our room to be very quiet. The buffet breakfast the following morning (included with our room rate) was okay and had a decent amount of options. We did notice that there weren't many restaurants in the area and a lot of them were closed (it was a public holiday and a Tuesday to boot), so we did struggle to find somewhere to eat within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants in the main CBD area, so would definitely recommend heading in there if you have a car or are happy to get a taxi.

"Great location"
Great location in Queen St, close to shops, train station, Quay St and the harbour. Kids loved the pool and thought the apartment (adjoining rooms) was very luxurious. I loved the bath, the little touches like make-up wipes, the heated towel rail. Didn't go to the restaurant, thought it looked over-priced for a not very exciting menu. Kitchen had everything we needed - although a Nespresso machine wouldn't go astray. Was more than we would usually spend but worth it for the convenience of the location, and a bit of luxury for one night.

The largest city in NZ, Auckland is the home of its tallest structure – Sky Tower – as well as most of the country’s other tallest buildings. The wide, sweeping Waitemata Harbour leads from Auckland to the sea and the Auckland Harbour Bridge connects the city with North Shore. Auckland is surrounded by about 48 volcanoes, so impressive natural sights are never far away. It’s attracted people from many different walks of life for over a century, and now has an amazingly diverse range of cultures, including the world’s largest Polynesian community.

Stay in the Auckland CBD and you can live the big city life with nature’s beauty still close by. To say Auckland has decent restaurants is an understatement – there are whole precincts you can choose from packed with delicious eats, from the waterfront and its harbour views to the funky local bars of High Street. When it’s time to shop, head to Queen Street to pick up some bargains, including local and international fashion labels, boutiques and whatever else takes your fancy. Auckland’s nightlife has everything from cool indie bars to cocktail lounges and hip-hop clubs, so a great night out is guaranteed!

Need some waking up? Coffee might do the trick, but you should feel pretty alive after doing the Skyjump, a heart-pumping base jump 192m from Sky Tower. If you love a good view but don’t want to plummet to earth, take the SkyWalk instead and explore the narrow rail around the tower while strapped into a harness. You’ll get an amazing look at the city, the harbour and beyond.

Auckland Museum is the place to be if you want to discover the city’s history. A stunning heritage-listed Greco-Roman building in Auckland’s 75-hectare park The Auckland Domain, it has an enormous collection of Maori artefacts. Animal lovers can check out Auckland Zoo, New Zealand’s biggest collection of exotic animals from around the world, while art fans shouldn’t miss the massive collection at Auckland Art Gallery.

When you need to get out of the city, venture to one of the nearby volcanoes like Rangatoto, or better yet, take a guided tour with a ferry across the harbour and a 4WD ride to the summit. With heaps of plant life and views of nearby ranges, this is one lush volcano.

The whole country is worth exploring, but you need to start somewhere, and Auckland is a great place to start! Find your perfect Auckland CBD hotel and book your flight to Auckland with us and start your New Zealand adventure. It’s a journey you just have to take at least once in your life!
