Bed was uncomfortable due to split level in mattress(es) seems most people sleep on the left and there’s a hollow place. Naturally I slept on the right to be comfortable. A couple unlikely to enjoy?

Stayed before and was great - this time we (2 friends) rang to book 1 hour massage each - this was at 6pm they close at 9pm (short notice I know) but the East Day Spa reception girl said no sorry only 30min massage I said no we would like 1 hour she said no you can come at 7.30 but we want to lock up at 9pm so only do half hour massage. As it was we sat in the waiting area for around 15 - 20 mins waiting. My room - the tv remote worked fine until around 11.30pm is jammed on to BBC Knowledge channel and the volume was fairly loud - for 2 hours I tried to turn tv off, no power switch etc etc etc... was a sleepless night with a loud tv on ALL night - my friends room the tv remote worked occassionally also her bathroom sink tap kept turning itself on through out the night. Her coffee machine would not work and the instructions were not clear she said. At check out the next morning reception said why did I not ring them about the remote not working - I said it was Midnight and I did not think that there would be a maintenience person around at that time of night - she informed me they are 24 hours. I had no idea or I would've. All in all a bit disappointing this stay.
