Hi Amy, thanks so much for your great online review. FYI, those black objects on the bedhead are overhead touch reading lamps that swivel! Try them out next time you are with us... We do also place a lovely guest amenity which is a packet of bath salts by Appelles into each of our (4) rooms that come with a bath tub. All the best

Unfortunately we are not always able to confirm an early check-in or late check-out in advance, as it will depend upon the availability of rooms on your arrival/departure date. Our standard check-in time is indeed 3:00pm and check-out time is 10:00am, outside of these times you may certainly plan to arrive early, register and make use of our estate facilities, have a tipple at the cellar door and store your luggage with us at reception until such time as your room is ready. We will note this request on your reservation, and do our utmost to accommodate your early arrival/late departure request as best as we can. Upon your arrival, we can also look to provide a complimentary late check-out up to 10:30am. If you would like to secure an early check-in or later check-out, we can offer the below guaranteed times (fees apply): Early Check-in: • 2:00pm for an additional $50; or • 1:00pm for an additional $75 Late Check-out: • 11:00am for an additional $50; or • 12:00pm for an additional $75 A guaranteed early check-in/late check-out does need to be booked in advance as occupancies are ever-changing, and these times are subject to availability.

Our sincere apologies for the excessive noise experienced on your most recent stay with us. Such disturbances from adjacent rooms are certainly not typical of the guest experience here at Mandoon, but we have taken your comments on board and will seek to rectify. Pleasingly, we have now finished our routine spring clean of all 32 guest rooms, and they are looking better than ever with regards to presentation and cleanliness!

If you require additional living space I would recommend you consider upgrading to an Executive room which has the bedroom on a mezzanine level and allows for a small living space below.
