The staff were racist to my daughter in law because she is Aboriginal. This is despite my Daughter in law explaining the bond was on her banking details. They had the opportunity to call me or my son who were put but they didn't. Will not be staying there ahain Racidm at its best coloured people sytay away to avoid RACISM.

the things that were inviting was the bed was fantastic to sleep in, so much room and perfect! I found the resturant wasn't user friendly to guests. There was no after hours choices The staff were amazing and I am grateful for their time. Reception or booking in was a joke, it took one hour and 25min prior to being booked in, there was no one there to ensure that this was a normal process or there were was no one around to support the staff serving the guests And finally, breakfast was so lovely, but there was no place to sit, when the hotel is trying to accommodate the amount of guest for meals they didnt bank on dining space It is a great hotel but there were definate flaws that could have been corrected if you could have a 24 meal service to accommodate guests and if you had more space for dining in that would be more accommodating and i would use it more

I am disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy certain aspects of our hotel during your stay, especially the length of time it took to check in. Unfortunately, our cloud based property management system was offline on Saturday and we were unable to access reservations, which also prevented us from being able to check in our guests. As you can appreciate, this made it very difficult for our front office talent to offer our usual levels of service. I sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused and I understand how frustrating and unacceptable this was for our guests. We obviously did as best we could, however, as this system is provided by a third party vendor, our only option was to adopt a manual system, which is very limited and time-consuming. Please rest assured this is not a reflection of our usual service and I sincerely hope you will offer us another chance in the future to demonstrate the quality of service that we have become renowned for. Please do reach out when you wish to return and I will personally ensure your stay exceeds your expectations to hopefully regain your confidence in Aloft Perth. The hotel system crashed, we waited 2 hours for check in and were told we were not guaranteed a room as they couldn't process people manually. Also that they were unsure if someone else was already in the room. My husband & I had to get changed for a gala dinner in the change room. After dinner we arrived back at midnight and still had to wait for a room. Finally got a room and still got charged full price and not even a bottle of complimentary water in the room. Staff advised we would have to purchase this from a vending machine. Unacceptable service from a 4 star hotel.

While I agree this is frustrating and unacceptable, this was out of our control and the team manually processed all reservations. Very close to where we attended a wedding, close to the casino. Nice place to stay and would recommend. Bed was comfortable and facilities where great πŸ‘

My go to place to stay when I am in Perth for work. Very central for me and convenient with work in Midland and family in South Perth. What brings me back is the modern bedroom/bathroom . It has a very 5 star feel about the room that screams luxury despite the price. My only grievance would be the lack of seating for the breakfast buffet without the choice of this being delivered via room service. Be prepared to sit next to strangers to eat breakfast. Definitely a design oversight and whilst I am happy to pay the breakfast charge for a beautiful buffet breakfast, it is a very quick uncomfortable experience which I wish could be addressed. My suggestion is to go as early as you can to breakfast, especially in a weekend when it is busier.

I had high hopes for this hotel, the photos on the website looked beautiful and it was 4 star. However we were a bit disappointed with some things. Firstly, the room we booked was the Breezy room which on the website shows a corner room with 2 big windows looking on to the river. We had 1 window that looked mostly on to the carpark and the red rooster across the road. There was no minibar in the room. Not even any bottled water, which was disappointing. Minibar items could be purchased from the reception desk, but who wants to go downstairs in their pj's to get a snickers? Room service was only available between certain times, with a $5 delivery fee!!! The toilet was not very clean either, although when the housekeeping came on our second day I left the lid up so that it was obvious what needed to be cleaned. It was also very disappointing to ask the bar staff for a coffee at 10pm on Saturday night, and be told that everything was closed and didn't we have instant sachets of coffee and a kettle in our room? Which we did, but that's not the point. Even a pod machine in the room would have been better than the instant sachets. Overall I have to say that I expected a lot more from a 4 star property, particularly given that it cost us more than $700 for 2 nights.
