The reception staff and management staff were shocking, terrible customer service. They took our $300 bond that we put down because my husband was vaping outside the room standing at the bedroom door which apparently is not allowed as there are designated smoking areas outside the hotel which we knew absolutely nothing about. There was no damage at all to the room, there was no smell, it didn’t effect the staff or the next customer who checked in after us, it made absolutely zero effect on the hotel what so ever yet they still took it upon themselves to charge me our entire bond! This is after spending $400 on a room we checked into at 8pm and also another $200 on top at their in house restaurant all to then we charged an additional $300 for nothing was absolutely disgusting. In total $900 for a few hours spent at the resort only to stay in a room that smelt so incredibly bad and musty and was so out of date with their décor, then to be treated like that by the staff was unheard of. Do not rate of recommend this resort. The grounds of it are beautiful, that is where the good starts and ends
