The escalator was not working and the acrod lift was very difficult to locate in the lobby, my husband and I are both in our 80's and have limited mobility. When we reached the reception area we were not greeted kindly, and when I asked about parking I was pointed to a sign on the counter stating that a charge of $25 per night would be charged. On returning to the reception area after parking our vehicle we were again not treated very kindly and a manager was called, I could not accept their policy of paying a bond of $200 (we are pensioners and don't have that amount at hand) as we were not advised of this charge prior to getting there. The manageress agreed to note on our reservation that we had not registered. (This was a treat from our family for our 65th wedding anniversary). We then left the hotel and went home, and I rang Wotif to ask for a full refund.

Very dated, best view in Perth!

This hotel hasn't been upgraded for at least 10 years. The rooms are very dated. Itys has the best view in Poerth from every year and is directly on the beach surrounded by many bard and restaurants so still a great plave to stay.

Australia's best views?

Overall the stay with amazing. Not sure I've ever come across views so good and the location was just incredible for what we needed (beach and the skate bowl). Room itself although not amazing was still absolutely fine and breakfast was awesome. Only thing really is the hotel is getting a bit dated but they are working on some areas of that as I write. I love this hotel (always have) and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Balcony with no furniture on it, so could not be used, mattress hard as a rock so little sleep over 2 nights,1 face washer in bathroom for 3 people that stayed in the room.TV not a smart tv so viewing was pretty boring.toilet roll holder falling out of wall. Water pressure in shower was just about non existant. Didnt use buffet breakfast this time as it $84 each. Tfe hotels member but that count for anything also a expedia member that didnt count for anything either.

We booked this hotel with the main focus being to enjoy the swimming pool with my 7-year-old son. But unfortunately, we ended up leaving before unpacking. Upon arrival, we were informed that the pool was unavailable, and we would need to walk several hundred meters down the road to use a public swimming pool instead. This was extremely disappointing as it was a key reason for our booking. Additionally, I booked a room for three people, but when we arrived, there was only one bed and no arrangement provided for my son to sleep in. This was quite surprising and inconvenient. The hotel itself is showing its age, so understandably renovations are underway. However, I feel that these renovations and the lack of facilities should have been clearly communicated during the booking process to ensure potential guests are fully aware of what to expect. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of expectations, and we decided not to stay.
