i FOUND THE ADD ONLINE TO BE MISLEADING AND DID NOT MATCH THE REALITY. THE STAIRS TO THE SECOND FLOOR OF SENIORS ARE DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE.

I'm perplexed to read this review after you admitted you didn't read the description properly and after we offered you alternative accommodation. You declined, stayed and still complained.

Have stayed since it was Quest . Place was not that full on our side( 66) but for some reason we had someone put in 66A above us? He had Aircon on for the 2 nights we were below & every 5 minutes it cut in then 5 minutes later cut out...split aircon unit was on wooden deck right above our bed. Clunk ..clunk... did mention but think it went through to the keeper. Will certainly stay again but ensure no unit above our head

Thank you for your review John. I took action on this promptly and after speaking with the owner we are investigating. Please note we have not had a similar complaint of this nature but we still take all feedback on board. I also want to note that we were fully booked the night you stayed. Most of our guests are working though and they don't all have cars. I am glad you are considering returning though. Cheers

This property is in the hands of new management and I wish them well as I wish we hadn't gone there , some lights not working 40W globes in most rooms. Old yellow brown carpet marked walls , the bathroom ceiling was cracked and leaking lighting hopeless. Its quite a nice place swimming pool lovely despite the fact that its a non smoking resort people were smoking. The parking is impossible if there are 2 tenants one car blocks the entrance to apartment . These are owner apartments who lease out as well, so they don't really know what's acceptable, the cleaning staff and reception staff are fabulous but you wouldn't get us back here ever.

Hell William. Thank you for your feedback. I sent a response a few weeks ago but it looks like it wasn;t approved so here is a summarised version. It is a work in progress for us to give all apartments the attention they need after heavy traffic the past few months but I can assure you 9.5/10 guests are very happy when they stay here. We can't do much about the older carpets and other furnishings other than encourage property owners to upgrade. We can ensure the rooms are clean and functional though and I can assure you they all are. We have been paying special attention to walls. You seem to have a good insight on the business model. As for the smokers, well they were in breech of the bylaws and unfortunately not everyone plays by the rules which are made very clear from the point of booking to check in and monitored by our staff. We hope you find somewhere that will meet your expectations in the future. I've just responded to three other reviews all of which were glowing.

Thank you for your review Robert. I'm glad you enjoyed the Resort and yes our carparks are standard size that were built at the time. Usually you'll find a spot out the front for the bigger cars. Please speak to reception next time and our friendly staff will point you in the right direction.

Liked the quiet of canals and able to put kayaks in at facility. Apartments were great although I feel there could be more crockery as in bowls etc. great for cooking but nothing to serve in.

Had a great few days away for my husbands Birthday lovely location staff were lovely and friendly only complaint was bed was a bit uncomfortable apart from that we will be coming again with family and friends next time.
