1. the huge queues at breakfast were a disaster. 2 the alternate breakfast at the baron was poor.3, the size of the bathrooms was miniscule and the shower was a metre step into the bath, not easy for the elderly. the staff were first class. I would not proberbly stay a second time. 4 there was no lounge area

Great stay at the Washington Hotel.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 3 children (8,5,0 years of age). The room was on the small side, but it was what we expected for Tokyo. If it was just my husband and myself it would of been an easy walk to Shinjuku station but it was about a 15 minute walk and got a bit much for the kids legs. As a result, we took cabs a few times to save their legs, this was easy as there is a taxi rank at the front. We used the restaurants in the building a few times which was a great option after a long day, we also utilised the Family Mart every day for quick snacks and drinks. The coin operated laundry facilities in the annex were also handy to save taking all the dirty clothes home. The restaurant on the top level has great views and the buffet breakfast was awesome, it offered both traditional Japanese and Western foods. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Shinjuku Washington hotel.

Close to facilities, good onsite dining options

Pros: Convenience to transport, shops, dining
Cons: Room temperature too hot & stuffy
Location: Close to station, shops, airport shuttle & tour pick ups
Found this a great place to stay. Options for dining and breakfast, really enjoyed breakfast with the 25th floor view. Helpful staff.

Good price and decent location

Pros: cleanliness and convenience.
Cons: better air circulation. very small room, window can only be opened by worker.
Hotel wasn't far off the shinjuku station however due to number of people in the area, i wouldn't walk the distance with more than one carrier. I've accidentally requested for smoking room, smell was so bad, air freshening device dont think did any job, requested reception for the windows to be opened, i left it open the whole stay and it did make huge difference. Rooms are very very small, i didn't have a space to open my luggage. apart from that everything was good, most importantly shower and beds were clean, had all necessary things like usb charging station etc. i would never share this supposed to be 2 people room again with anyone. it's barely movable alone. if you're going to japan for a week, whole room for yourself, it would be a cheap, good option but nothing more than that.
