The property is a bit outdated. The staff was friendly. In our room, There was a lot of dog hair on the floor. I told the front desk people that to vacuum it. The next day, match better but there was still dog hair everywhere.

Whenever I’m in San Francisco I stay at the Intercontinental. It’s so convenient and easy to get around to Pier 39, SOMA and other popular locations. It’s clean, comfortable, love the bar and gym. Can’t wait to be back soon!

We stayed at the InterContinental San Francisco last night. The location is convenient, and the building itself is modern and comfortable. The real highlight of our stay was the cleaning and room service staff — they were genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the front desk. The service there felt cold and unhelpful, which set the wrong tone at check-in. For a hotel at this price point, we expected a much warmer and smoother experience. Overall, the room was fine, housekeeping was wonderful, but the front desk service definitely left something to be desired.
