Great location

Great little place right across from the beach/pier. Fotos show the view from our room and landscaping as you come in. Rooms are big, with sink, fridge, microwave. Clean, modern, and beachy. Could walk to pier, boardwalk, shops, in just a couple minutes.

Truly Amazing

The staff were super friendly and the kids loved the hot chocolate and popcorn order station. Location was amazing, room was clean and shower was huge! Only wish we had more time to enjoy it all.

Difficulty checking in as we arrived early and asked if we could possibly check-in a little early as we had a busy evening planned. The lady checked and said our room was not ready but would call us as soon as it was ready. No call though. We came back 2 hours later and was told that our room was ready and had been ready for awhile. The new person said, I guess the lady before me forgot to call you. Very disappointing.

Beach Street Inn is the Goldilocks Inn for Santa Cruz. Not too far from the boardwalk or the wharf. Not too expensive and not too average. Our 2nd stay within the past month and a half, they have it dialed in with clean rooms, friendly staff ans many other benefits. Highly recommend!

The property is right next to the ocean which is very convenient but the place needs some updates and clean up their AC system. I was sneezing and coughing whenever turning on the AC.

Good location to beach and wharf but too much noise from the main street. We chose a room with a full kitchen so we can prepare breakfast, but the oven is very difficult to operate, baking tray does not fit either. They didn't answer phone calls late evenings. They do provide daily housekeeping, not like many other hotels. We encountered 2 female staff, one is more friendly than the other, Nicole is very helpful, kind, polite with nice attitude. Thank you Nicole.
