Hotel was OLD and the popcorn ceilings and the dank corridors were awful. The entry door to our room had no weatherstripping and light shined through it from the corridor at all night long. The soundproofing is horrible! Every door that opened in the corridor felt like it was slamming right next door. I honestly think that the footsteps above us was dropping popcorn ceilings material onto all the surfaces of our room.

We were given a handicap accessible room without being asked … that could’ve been used for someone who needs it .plus water runs from the shower onto the bathroom area due to the access . I didn’t complain since it was a one night stay but that needs to be used for those in need / upon request . Parking is $63 I believe and front desk informed us not to leave anything in the car ( that was in the garage ) while we waited for the room to be ready … I appreciated the honesty

Great location but noisy and needing updating

Great location and close to many key attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39 and Alcatraz. Hotel is looking a little bit dated now and the room we were in (4601) was incredibly noisy, given poor sound proofing and being adjacent to a crossroads, tram line and bus station. Ear plugs were essential for half decent nights sleep.

The location of the property is perfect and walking distances to tourist stuff. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and actually was a full buffet breakfast. Staff was all friendly and nice. For sure would stay again

The location is great. Good for walking to the piers and the embarcadero. Plenty of eating establishments and shopping if you wanted to shop. Also, close enough to walk Columbus Ave to North Beach and all the great restaurants. We parked at the hotel and left the car. We prefer using public transportation in San Francisco. The staff were all very pleasant to work with, this was very much appreciated. The room was very clean and neat. The only thing I would say that could be better is the bathroom. The toilet and shower area could be larger. This was a very minor issue. I sincerely doubt that you could get a better breakfast at any other hotel. It was absolutely wonderful.
