San Francisco is a big city in a small package, filled from the Pacific to the Bay with more food, sights and nightlife than you could possibly see in one holiday. Getting Around San Francisco

You may think surfboards and convertibles are the only ways to get around in California, but not so in NorCal. Travellers on flights to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) have tons of options for getting into town, from rail to wheels, and the BART and Muni systems cover every inch of the city.

When You Land…

If the sun is shining when you land—or even if it isn’t—snag a must-have photo op at the Golden Gate Bridge. In the afternoon, flights to San Francisco are sure to have some hungry passengers. Chow down on deep-fried goodness at a dim sum lunch in famous Chinatown (if it’s good enough for Barack Obama, it’s good enough for you!). At night, drop your bags at your San Francisco accommodation and hail a cab to the Mission District. From indie theatres to plenty of dancing, this is the place for night owls.

Live Like a Local

Ready to dig a little deeper? Get your hula hoop, dress in your finest robot costume and head to Mission Dolores Park. Don’t worry, you won’t be the weirdest one there. For peace and quiet, pack some sourdough and organic hummus and picnic in Presidio Park instead. Better yet, grab a Mission burrito from a food truck. Your belly will thank you.

Your wallet will thank you, too, when you book cheap flights to San Francisco on Wotif. Book your airfares and accommodations together with one of our packages, and let us do the heavy lifting. The only heavy thing you should be lifting is that giant Mission burrito to your face.

Fantastic location. Hotel is a bit dated for the price but everything is clean. The rooms look great, awesome TV if that’s your thing. Bed was okay, bit sinking, pillows too soft for me. Honestly I don’t sleep great there. The heater/air conditioner was really loud and turning it off was problematic. ...
