Fantastic place in the perfect location!

My old stomping grounds. I loved living in HB. I am blessed to live in Idaho now, but will always come visit HB. This hotel had so many amenities that we never took advantage of. But the perfect location, fantastic staff, an wonderful room was exactly the "fix" we needed. I will definitely stay here again.

I went to this hotel for Valentine's weekend expecting to have a wonderful time. I experienced criminality and disrespect of being lied to by hotel management, Mr. Maldonado. We entrusted our $100,000 vehicle with the hotel’s valet, and within hours we were contacted by the Huntington Beach Police Department that our car glass was smashed and the paint and interior were severely damaged during a car theft attempt while in the care of the hotel's valet service. Mr. Maldonado graciously sought to offset the destruction of our Valentine's weekend by crediting our resort fee and one-half of our hotel fees; as our Valentine's evening was ruined and we lost half of a Saturday dealing with our damaged vehicle and acquiring substitute transportation. Mr. Maldonado did not follow through with his promised refund of our one-half hotel stay, and he has now begun to lie about the existence of that very specific promise. This hotel presents a risk of criminal victimization, and management that will lie to you! Wendi Stanfill -

Friendly staff, rooms had vinyl record players, lobby had pac man, space invaders, ping pong, free wine and beer 5-6, bikes, beach chairs, fabulous sent in lobby, good restaurant, walk to Huntington Pier.

The Kimpton is not as advertised. It's not a "resort" and is not beachfront. It's a small boutique hotel in a strip mall type setting, no pool or spa, and you'll need to cross the four lane PCH Hwy to get to the beach. Try the Hyatt, or Hilton a few blocks away. Hyatt has an amazing pool area for kids, and separate areas for the adults restaurants, etc.
