First, the good. CC, morning counter staff was helpful, as well as the brunch wait staff. Night staff, ugh, what a pain to deal with. Unresponsive and not helpful to simple requests. This hotel is misleading, there is not microwave or fridge included with your room unless you pay the extra fees, that’s right, it says your room comes with these two “amenities” but they don’t. Breakfast, also not included in your stay, at all! It is a separate charge. The website says breakfast is included (multiple third party sites and the hotel site). Breakfast is sub-par, grainy and gritty pancakes, undercooked sausage, wet potatoes, it goes on. The rooms are quite uncomfortable, especially the old, stained, spring mattresses. The bathrooms are dilapidated, in need of serious care. We changes rooms since the first had no fridge (yes, we paid the extra money), the second room was worse than the first room. Bathroom doors did not close all the way, the tub was clogged so I pulled everything out of the drain myself. Tons of debris and hair. So much water damage in my room, the ceiling was crumbling with terrible patch work done, the floor was warped from water damage with no attempt to repair. The pool, wow. The indoor pool, which should be tempered, was not. So it’s close to 52 degrees. Hot tub, shoots upward and out of the tub. The first time we started the jets, they shot out a ton of film and what looked like old skin debris. There was never any towels in the pool area, although we asked.
