Overall the hotel had an overwhelming smell of weed. Even though it was apparently non-smoking. The light in the room keep flashing (with electrical pops) and tripping the GFCI in the bathroom. Don’t bring kids here. This hotel is designed teenage kids or young couples. Won’t be back.

Staff was very friendly, we arrived really early and they held our bags for us to we could go and explore. They also held our bags after we checked out, because we weren’t ready to head out yet and still had sight seeing to do. Room was nice and clean. AC was good but seemed a little warm for my preference. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the hotel. The game room is great. We felt like it was in a great area and close to all the places we wanted to go. The concierge, Tatiana was super helpful.

The bath room had a fan. It has been a long time since I was in a hotel that had a bathroom fan that actually took care of the steam in the bathroom. Loved the location to pier 39.

Great location, walkable to many must see attractions. On site amenities are fun for families. Outdoor and indoor games. Restaurant connected to courtyard is mediocre. Bathroom is small and don’t feel super clean, but it’s also on the older side.

I had four delays in my flight to San Francisco and when I called to canceled my reservation they told me to contact Hotels.com to get approval for a refund. The agent I spoke to could not get in contact with the reservation team and told me that they could not uphold a refund on the night that I was supposed to stay in the hotel. This is the second time that Hotels.com has done this with hotels when they rescheduled hotel room does not follow thru and charges a full night.

Amenities? What a joke. Quaint charm and a great location don’t excuse the complete lack of accessibility. The parking situation was unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to care about its guests. There were four accessible spaces for the entire property—four. Everyone else is left to fend for themselves in a chaotic, first‑come‑first‑serve scramble that feels more like a punishment than hospitality. After a long day, being forced to walk multiple blocks in the rain with luggage because the hotel can’t be bothered to provide adequate parking is infuriating. It turned what should have been a relaxing Valentine’s stay into a miserable experience. Do better, Zephyr. Figure it out.

The cleaning staff was great and very attentive. But the hotel itself wasn't really nice. It was more like a 2-3 star hotel; we were expecting a nice hotel especially for being so centralized. The bathrooms were extremely tiny and the hallways smelled horrible. Old rugs tend to create a bad smell.

Horrible upcharging 50 dollars for early checkin before 4pm as they sit on your empty room, 50 dollar late check out charge from 11am to 12pm...42 dollar game room upcharge l...75 dollar parking charge..I wrote a review regarding what happened before my stay, but it continues. In our room, the heater was broken and taped up. We had to use a home depot box heater poking out the windows. It worked to heat the room but wouldn't turn off or cool the room down. My wife and I woke up in the.middle of the night sweating. Oh yea...i forgot to mention the rat traps in the room under the bed.. We set it to 62 but it didnt work or cool down. We didn't call anyone because it was 2am. We tried to open the windows bit they wouldn't open. Just to breath, we had to open up the fridge and crank it to high to try to cool the room. Not joking! The bed was hard, hurt our backs. The room was dirty and smelled. It was literally the worst hotel experience we EVER had. On top of that the elevator was broken during the whole time we were there, so we had to walk our huge suitcases up and down. It was insanely awful. We asked for manager but we're told by the staff that she wasnt around.
