Super value for money hotel

It is in heart of the business district with lot of restaurants nearby .. It had water dispensers with clean bottles on each floor and a coffee machine on Lobby level 24/7 as compliments .. The wifi was good and the House Keeping was impeccable

I stayed at this hotel and had an unpleasant experience. The receptionist kept forgetting my name and requested my ID every 30 seconds, which felt excessive and uncomfortable, possibly due to my appearance. I hope the management addresses this, as I cannot recommend this hotel.

$450 for this??? The entire hotel is extremely old, the coffee machine in the hall doesn't work, only for a sip. There's no bathroom fan switch, although the there's a fan on top. Layout is obnoxious, the walkway is narrow, and is a one way maze. If you live in the end of maze like I do, 232, I have to walk 3 turns and long walkways to reach the elevator. They blocked one hallway to add more rooms instead to collect more money I guess??... The front desk agent told me to come down stairs to get the slipper, I walk all the way there. He told me to wait upstairs for servicer to give me... The food delivery is a no, I have to walk all the way again to fetch the food. There's on water bottle in the room. You heard that right. I have to walk all the way back near elevator to get some water to fill with provided empty bottles... If there's not greedy enough, look at the extra you need to pay a high cost for the snacks in the room .... I would expect 450$ deserve much better, this hotel not even close to half the price worth... It's surely not a 4 star hotel. It's very dated hotel. 450$ doesn't even come with a breakfast....

The location is very convenient and the lounge is nice. My guess is that some of the rooms are very comfortable (and I appreciate the filtered water and microwave in the room) - but we got a dark and dingy room with a saggy bed and a weird smell. I suspect that this was because we booked through "a third party" which made them unhappy. No, I didn't complain, I should have, but was there for work and didn't have time. Also, the price was good. I might even stay here again but I would try to leave enough time to possibly ask for a different room.

Love this quirky boutique hotel. Things aren’t perfect but the staff and some of the unique qualities of the hotel make it special. Clean and well maintained. Had a couple of small issues and staff made it right immediately. I look forward to staying again!
