Great Value & Stylish Stay, But Bring Earplugs!

I had a great stay at this hotel, especially considering the price (around $200 per night). I booked the Courtyard King room and found it to be stylish, clean, and surprisingly spacious—despite some reviews mentioning small rooms. The location is excellent, surrounded by plenty of dining options, and the hotel itself has some thoughtful touches, like complimentary earplugs, free coffee and bottled water, and $10 food and drink coupons, which were a nice bonus. That said, if you're a light sleeper, noise could be an issue. Even though my room faced the courtyard, sound carried quite a bit—from guests chatting late into the night to music in the evenings (which didn’t bother me as much). The biggest noise issue, though, was the heavy doors that slam shut throughout the night, combined with inconsiderate guests talking loudly in the hallways. A softer door-closing system would be a great improvement. Overall, the hotel offers a luxe experience with great amenities, including a rooftop pool. If you’re not overly sensitive to noise, it’s a fantastic stay for the price.

Its a great property. Room was good just hairs in the bathroom when i checked in but after 20 hours of travel wasnt going to bother dealing with that. Staff werent loving life but they were as helpful at the minimum required. Told me not to walk alone at night. I think your ok though just look like a local and you will fit right in.

Property was super convenient to the areas I needed/wanted to be. However, it was shocking to find out that there is a 35$ fee per day amenities charge for Wi-Fi, pool and workout area- to which I never went to as the pool area was closed during the days when I was there and in the evenings when it was open, that was when my functions were going on. *This fee is not included in the price you pay through Expedia. As far as everything else; the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Knowing everything I know now, I would stay there again and give myself a day to lounge poolside.

Overall, the hotel was ok, the location is decent and the service is on point where whether it is the room service or the restaurant. However, staying in the room was not pleasant. Indeed a weird breakfast-like smell was constantly feeling the room’s atmosphere which made it quite unpleasant especially considering the price. The smell of egg, potato and bacon especially was feeling the room and getting rid of the smell was impossible because the windows don’t open in this hotel.

This property had valet service that was able to be used all day and night at your convenience by send a quick text to call for your car. The valet guys were so nice and accommodating to quick bathroom breaks that we needed to do here and they up to our hotel room, so that was nice, front desk staff was professional and always looking busy, the hotel rooftop bar was perfect dim light setting felt dressy and casual at the same time, and the drinks were amazing from the main bar can’t say the same for the pop up bar outside those drinks weren’t that great, but still a vibe none the less, and our room was perfect and very clean as well as a awesome view of the Hollywood sign! And everything you felt a short walk away ! Great spot we will be coming back here hoping to make the Godfrey our new spot for our visits in town !

Wonderful hotel! Clean, comfy beds, beautiful. The staff was wonderful with answering questions and giving us assistance when needed. The hotel was quiet at night, was within walking distance of the concert venue we were attending. 10/10 would stay here again!
