Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Great location, front desk staff were lovely, and despite being on Bourke St the room was super quiet and dark. The room was very spacious and had plenty of amenities. Bathrooms need a bit of a refresh as the grout etc is getting a bit stained but it was definitely clean. Would stay again.

This is not a 4 star hotel, not even close. Rooms were dirty and bed springs were popped out in the middle and side of the bed. When we complained, they said all beds are like this. But finally they changed our room. The second room was even worse than the first one. Spiders and dirty bathrooms. The bed was as bad as the original room. We asked for another room. The 3rd room’s bed was just ok but bathroom was not clean. Fridge was not working and smell like burnt plastic. Finally they replaced the fridge. Saying that, staff were trying to be accomodating but they were reluctant to do so. If you want, you can Ignore my comments and enjoy your back and heap pain the day after by sleeping on those beds.

Well located. Loads of food options within 10min walk. Tram stop just outside, so it makes getting around easy. Swanston St is close enough to get to the hops easily, but far enough to avoid the crowds. Overall, a nice property in a nice location.

Room is considered spacious with kitchen, bathroom and living room. It’s also clean when we checked in. Counter staff are all very polite and helpful. We had a nice and smooth experience checking in and out. Location is awesome at Burke street and it’s only few minutes walk to main shopping mall area and we have a tram station right outside Citadines. However the housekeeping needs to be improved. We stayed for 7 nights and we were informed that our room would get cleaned up on 3rd and 5th day (which we are fine with it). But one day, the dishes were not washed and on the other day, the rubbish bin wasn’t cleared. We would expect a higher room keeping standard. Also on one night when we requested for 1 fresh towel as we realised one of our towels was stained, we were informed they ran out of bath towel… no way! How could an apartment hotel ran out of bath towel? Can’t imagine this… Overall, we still like and enjoy our stay.

The location was good and the room size was decent. However, the room was very dirty and dusty. The pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable, and the air conditioning was weak, even set to 18°C, the room never got cold.
