Absolutely horrendous experience at the Adelphi. No concierge, had to drag three suitcases and bags up stairs myself. Room was disgusting—coffee stains on walls, strong smoking stench, bathroom old and rotten. Totally nothing like the Expedia photos. Staff were unhelpful and rude. Sarah, who had only worked there two weeks, offered another room but refused to let us move there, then later stormed into our original room shouting, “You need to leave right now!” My niece was crying, we had to pack in a rush, and leave in the pouring rain. Paid $30 for a car park we couldn’t even use properly. Misleading photos, filthy rooms, and aggressive staff. Avoid this place. Sarah was a nightmare.

Good sized room and bathroom. Complimentary prosecco and beer. Continental breakfast included. Snacks and non alcoholic drinks in the room included. Staff were excellent, even loaning us an umbrella as Melbourne weather is unpredictable. Great location in CBD. Excellent value for money

They have a bar with no one there offering any service. The one and only person at reception had to walk down to serve you. Zero atmosphere. It was a cold day on arriving their air con/ heating boiler was down the room was 17C. Not acceptable should have let me know so alternative arrangements could be made. It all seemed basic I will not return. I don’t know how they get a good rating?????

Very conveniently located. Easy access to public transport for concert venues, even walkable. The cafes and restaurants are a 5 min walk to Swanston and DeGraves streets. Very stress free.

A lovely hotel, great location and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was delicious with a good variety to choose from. My room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities one would expect, with bonus free mini bar for the first night and a welcome drink. I would definitely stay here again!
