I needed a hotel in town and it was good - food was excellent as I like my steak blue and chef did a great job with excellent vegetable too! My only criticism was the chair relative to the work desk - too low and really hard to do work at my computer in my room, needed to sit on the bed. Overall its a good option and worth trying.

Overall this is a very good hotel. The rooms are very modern, well equipped and very clean. The slight let down was in the staff. There was no warm greeting when checking in and they didn't explain anything during the check in, rather just handing me a card and telling me the room number. I had to figure out what floor it was on and then call back to confirm the check out times and how to access internet. There is a nice cafe at the bottom, which I would recommend for it's good breakfast and coffee. I would recommend this place to friends/family and will definitely stay here again next time I am in Mackay.
Great room for family. Room clean and separated for playing area for those with young children.
Staff helpful and friendly.
Grass area and pool clean for children
Central location for Mackay
Plenty of parking space and quite for children scooter riding
Would recommend and will visit again
the experience was fine.
terribly small TV for the unit, the fridge door looks like it has rust spots on it but functions ok, the front door weather sheild was hanging off when we arrived but was fixed quickly (it has been off for a while as it has marked the tiles), the hot water service is really noisy and in the bedroom cu.,
The sweetest city in Australia, Mackay is the biggest sugar producing region in the country, which only makes its scenery more diverse. From highways lined with sugar cane plantations the coast opens up before you with a seemingly endless stretch of white sandy beaches. Stay in our Mackay accommodation and you will have access to over 30 of the best beaches on the North Queensland coast at your doorstep.
Off the coast, scattered throughout the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, there are a number of tropical islands to explore and our Mackay hotels offer the perfect base to set out from. From the koala colony of St Bees Island to the pristine coral gardens of Scawfell Island and of course the entrance to the spectacular Whitsundays, Brampton Island, there is plenty to see and do while you stay in a Mackay hotel.
