I have regularly stayed at this motel for many years. The current menu desperately needs a make over. I do not recommend the Moroccan salad - you get a bowl of salad leaves with a few slices of tomatoes and a sprinkling of chickpeas and quinoa. For $25, it’s way overpriced. This version of Moroccan Salad was nothing like I’ve had at this motel in the past. It was based on chickpeas with quinoa, herbs and chopped tomato mixed through it. You also had the option of adding a side dish of grilled chicken to it. I stayed here a couple of weeks later on my return trip home. This time I didn’t bother having my evening meal in the restaurant. I purchased a few Vietnamese rice paper rolls at the Brisbane airport instead, keeping them cool in a little insulated bag.

Stay was ok, room clean, staff pleasant. Bathroom and shower in particular was small. Car parking a pain, no park spots left so was directed to short stay car park and advised my ticket would be validated. That didn’t work and had quite the mess trying to get out of the car park.
