Staffing was very minimal so don’t expect your room to be cleaned. Such lovely common areas but not in use which was such a waste.

This is a lovely old building with loads of character in a really convenient location. Easy walking distance to Echo Point, Scenic World and Katoomba main street. Room nicely renovated and well appointed. Common areas are in need of a refresh but for anyone wanting some old world charm this isn't an issue.

Very old property, falling apart in areas. Dirty sheets and pillows. Smelled smoke in middle of night, fire alarm went off twice, no explanation for it the next morning. Staff were very nice and helpful. Just an old building that needs updating and to be maintained/cleaned.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, its unfortunate but yes the smoke alarm did activate however only just once, this was immediately rectified by our onsite manager. Dirty sheets and pillows, not even close to being a slight possibility as linen is changed after each guest and pillows are inspected daily. Glad you liked the staff, safe travels.
