Lovely place to stay in a central part of Adelaide, great room and washing ammenities. Nice off street parking and clean and tidy park. Second time we’ve stayed here and will most likely be back again

I was a little disappointed with the reception my wife received when she rang to request clean towels. The text from Echo Parks stated “ For any concerns please ring xxxx xxx xxx” which she did only to be told quite bluntly that this is for after hours and emergencies only. She was also told we had only been there one day so why would we want clean towels. We had arrived a day earlier and in any case is that really a problem. I have re-read that text many times and can still not see any reference to that information. I know this sounds petty, but on the other hand we paid a fair price and expect fair service. We have stayed here in our caravan on a number of occasions and will do so again. The lady who answered the phone just needs to lift her game and if the number you give out is just for a particular purpose make sure it is clearly labeled as such.

No windows in our room so no batural light. Kitchen stove and hob (gas) had non functioning piezos so could only light 2 out of eight elements (with difficulty). Tv in our room had very poor reception so could not access most channels. Heat pump in our room very loud so had to turn off at night. Could not use the wifi provided as its reach was very limited - and we were close to reception building. Chose the place based on access to kitchen/cooking facilities and wifi. Room with no windows unpleasant. So generally a "fail" for us. The location was good though. The whole location was very crowded as they crammed in lots of people.

We recently stayed in a Budget Unit, and here’s my honest review: Positives: The location is great, right next to the beautiful Lochiel Park Wetland with a lovely walkway, perfect for morning or evening strolls. It’s about a 25-minute drive to central Adelaide, convenient for city access. The bed was comfortable. The unit included a microwave, cutlery, and fridge, which was very handy for preparing simple meals. Negatives: Noise was a major issue. I could hear every word spoken by neighbours until 3 am in the mornings, plus fights and loud TVs from neighbours, making it hard to relax or sleep. The little tables that are bolted to the wall cause anything placed on them by neighbors to sound like constant banging against the thin walls-very irritating, especially at night. The shower door was jammed open and couldn’t slide closed. The bathroom walls had cracks all along, which gave an impression of poor maintenance. The front door’s wooden threshold was loose, posing a safety concern. The unit smelled strongly of old smoke and mould, so much that my hair still smelled the same the next morning. There was a door between our unit and the neighbour’s unit covered by a loose cabinet, that door rattled all night due to wind drafts. Those sensitive to noise and smells might want to consider other accommodation options.
