Very dissatisfied , parking was way down the street , a long way to work with suitcases etc very inconvenient. Room is very basic , bathroom needs upgrading , room is very noisy.the only good thing is the gym and breakfast.

My partner and I really expected more from the Hilton brand, our experience was definitely not 5 star. Although the the bed was extremely comfortable that’s where it ended unfortunately. We had to request the most basic of things, ie: bottled water, milk for coffee - and were told COVID was the reason for the empty fridge. On our first morning a staff member also let himself into the room moments after tapping the door with the lightest of knocks, completely invading our privacy after just being in the shower. After enjoying stays in the Brisbane, Perth and Sydney Hilton hotels we were disappointed to say the least.

Due to the current situation some items have been removed from guest rooms to reduce the touch points however, they are still available on request. I had to change rooms twice, 3 rooms later before it was anywhere acceptable, first very obviously dirty, second dirty and there was a medical syringe laying on the room carpet, the room furniture was tired throughout, there was no mattress covers nor a top sheet. The bedding and bath robes were shabby. The tv didnt work properly, the bathroom mirror was hot whenever the mirror lights were switched on. The bar furniture was shabby and atmosphere cold, the staff were unfriendly which stood out as all other hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Bar food and breakfasts were good. We did not have any assistance with luggage on arrival or departure, the reception though friendly did not explain anything regarding the hotel to us. The worst thing was the syringe being in the second room when we had a small child accompanying us. The visit to see our family after two years due to covid was spoilt thanks to moving rooms and the time wasted, though we had complimentary canapés and drinks daily it was not sufficient to make up for a bad stay, the worst in a Hilton hotel.

the hotel was badly outdated.bath room was so outdated it had a shower certain and 1980s brown tiles.the bar fridge was the same time period.air con was noisy.parking was a joke,had to go on a hike to the bus station car park to get your car with no in and out privileges,so every time you needed your car you got a ticket going in and had to pay the ticket going out. I had been wanting to stay at hilton for a while but never got around to it ,now i wish i had'nt.
