The people at the front counter were hard to understand. Both because of wearing masks and because of their limited english.

Very disappointed with the room I was given. City corner room. Wasn’t cleaned very well. Bathroom was musky smelling, smears on the door mirror. Hair everywhere. Furniture out dated with chips. Bed uncomfortable with old thin pillows. Had a gift voucher to use which wasn’t applied. Lucky I questioned the end price which resulted in my card being over charged. Room service was average and cold. Won’t be coming back as the standards have dropped considerably.

We had a fantastic stay. Our room was updated and very comfortable. Stunning view of the foreshore and ocean.

The Stamford is a beautiful building in an amazing central location , the rooms were clean and spacious with two double beds. The staff were friendly. I’d recommend staying here .
