My wife and I stayed a night to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, since we stayed there on our wedding night. We were pleasantly surprised, particularly by the staff who couldn’t have been more pleasant and welcoming, especially Chad the concierge as we pulled in.

The view was good. I think they've used Covid as a cop out to drop service. If they can't offer Valet, they should reimburse parking (which was also advertised at $10 a day however was $24 for less than 24 hours)

All staff were very helpful except for one guy on the front counter that was very un helpful with the personality of a mop - if you don't enjoy your job move on.

I booked this stay on Wotif and had my credit card charged $205. When we checked in, on a Sunday afternoon, we had to line up with about 20 other people for 30 minutes to be served. Then the staff member who checked us in asked for my credit card again. When I questioned this I was told that the amount taken by Wotif was to hold the booking only and would be refunded. My credit card was then charged $265 which included a $100 security deposit to be refunded on departure. The staff member then told me the room rate was cheaper than I had been charged on Wotif. Great news!! ... I thought ... The next day I checked my credit card statement to see I had been charged both payments of $205 and $265. After some time waiting on hold and being disconnected from the hotel contact number, I was told someone would call back. They rang back several hours later and advised that my card should not have been charged on checkin for anything other than the $100 security deposit and the room rate was not after all, cheaper than what I had booked on Wotif. A lot of bad organisation and a need for better staff training is evident. Lots of inconvenience and I wasn’t impressed with the experience.

Right in the heart of Glenelg. Close to eateries and within walking distance of everything, great sea view, spacious room. Excellent dining

Balcony oceanview room was very clean and spacious. Pity the sliding door has no screen, for sleeping with the ocean breeze at night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
