Clean and Cosy

Pros: Easy to find, good parking, nice restaurant, Comfortable bed and all facilities to hand
Cons: Room was a little 'tired', could do with a refresh
Nice small room with all that is needed for a comfortable night. Nice restaurant downstairs if you can put up with all the pokier machines across the room. Easy access and parking. Stayed 2 nights while on business trip

A return visit, just an "overnight" this time to avoid a night drive home. The staff at this hotel are friendly and efficient and always helpful. Complimentary afternoon nibbles were excellent and very tasty (stuffed potato skins and chicken bits). The evening meal was better than we have experienced in so-called flash restaurants and was a credit to the kitchen staff. Bar service standards are high. The addition of a live music performance adds to the bar ambience, while the poker machines are muted so are not drowning out conversation and the entertainment. Our only down-side is that we both have an aversion to "soft" mattresses and the overlays in this hotel are a bit spongy. Still, you can't have everything, hey!

I left after 20 minutes.

No bike parking, there was areas they could have locked them away but on request was told it was not their problem. I packed up and left, did not even stay there.

As we saw things.

Pros: We liked the friendly staff. The room was well cleaned and serviced every day. Fresh towels and shower curtain daily.
Cons: Sound deadening for the walls and inter-connecting door. Space at the bottom of the bed is too small for two people to pass each other.
Location: Bus stop to/from CBD was outside.
The staff and conditions were very good. Absolutely no complaints there. The only negative comment we'd make is about noise, slightly from next doors TV whilst they were making love. Although the volume was not enough to detract from her vocal accompaniment,,,.she was very embarrassed the following morning when we bumped into each other. Saturday evening there was live entertainment which visitors are able to enjoy. The band was clearly audible in our room.

Not worth your money

Pros: food was good
Cons: really need some sort of noise reduction from downstairs when there is a party or band playing
Location: not really, there is nothing, unless you are able to drive around
we booked there just because it was close to Flinders Medical... wouldn't recommend to others unless you are up for sleepless night, bar downstairs had a live band playing... the noise from there in you room was just as load as you are at the bar. Hotel Staff herself told us do not park your car at the back, try to park it around the front etc... so didn't really feel safe, had terrible night worrying about the rental car that has $4000 excess on it... all in all, no, wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there

Lovely place to stay close to many facilities

Stayed here for our one year wedding anniversary. Had a lovely king-sized bed in a very nice looking room. All staff were very kind and helpful. Dining area felt like a luxury cruise ship. Breakfast not included, but lots of tasty options. Had one dinner meal there, food portions were small with no sides, but there is a free salad bar if you need more to fill you up. Often have live bands or functions over the weekend, noise can be heard from hotel rooms but stops around 10pm-11pm. No problem for us but could be a problem for families with children. Bus stop right outside the front door, we caught public transport everywhere we needed to go. Chemist, Foodland, and a few food places all within quick walking distance. Westfield Marion only 5-10mins away. Great if you'd like to go see a movie in Gold Class like we did. We were overall quite happy and would definitely come back again.

Perfect position for a study at Flinders Uni

Pros: Proximity to my needs
Cons: An elevator to the rooms - the stairs were a challenge with luggage and problematic knees :)
Location: Close to shopping centres, swimming pool, cinemas
Very pleasant room, comfy bed, fantastic shower (the water pressure was amazing). Being a weekend I was warned of band music on Friday and Saturday nights but found that it wasn't too audible in my room. Will stay again for sure

Handy access to hospital and transport.

Close to Flinders Medical Centre and Westfield shopping centre. Perfect for carers during hospital trips. Limited reception hours, need to plan around this for early flights. Open plan in dining areas so you can see the pokies from every angle but food is excellent, it's worth a bit of fluro glare!
